Calcullus Limited is a locally owned, and operated Cash Register & POS Systems company, specialising in the provision of quality Point of Sale and Business Solutions to businesses and organisations in the Auckland region.
Calcullus Ltd began operating in 1991 solely as a service/support company. For the first 10 years we specialised in servicing Casio Electronic Cash Registers (ECR) for which we were the only authorised Auckland Service Agent. We also supported a select range of quality point of sale (POS) products. The POS products we supported included fixed and Handheld Barcode Scanners, Touch-Screen Computers, and a range of Printers and Cash drawers.
The sole focus of Calcullus was to provide excellent service and customer support and as such became a well-respected and well-known name in the industry.
Calcullus have a longstanding relationship with Monaco Corporation Ltd (the Casio ECR Importer and Distributor) and were contracted to provide dealer support New Zealand wide for Casio ECR, along with handling all warranty repairs. Calcullus had a similar relationship with Star Micronics Ltd (Printer Importer and Distributor). We were the Auckland service agent and handled all their warranty repairs and covered any difficult repairs for their dealers.
With the depth of technical knowledge gained within the cash register and computer POS industry, and a practical knowledge of the business needs using this equipment, entering into sales was the next logical step for Calcullus. In April 2000 Calcullus was appointed as a dealer for Casio Cash Register sales. Late in 2003 to early 2004 Calcullus decided to take another step realizing that there was another brand in the market that that would complete the range of POS equipment on offer to our customers and give us the “one-stop shop” solution we aimed towards. To this end after many months of discussion with Advance Equipment Calcullus was appointed an Auckland dealer for the Quest POS system in July 2004.
The point of difference between our operation and others is our familiarity with the service requirements of point of sale, we know the customers needs and aim to deliver more than is expected. This puts Calcullus in the best position to become your point of sale supplier, providing solutions rather than just products, and knowledge rather than just information, allowing your business to operate more effectively and profitably.
Our focus has and is on continuing to develop long term relationships with our customers/business partners, by doing what we do, as expertly as it can possibly be done.
